Gamid Ibadullayev (b. 1980, Baku, Azerbaijan, in Poland since 2005). Graduated from the Academy in Baku with diplomas in Ceramics and History of Art (2003), and from the Cinematography department at the Film and Television Academy in Warsaw (2008).
Ibadullayev works in painting, sculpture, music, film, and photography and has had individual shows at venues such as: Składnica Sztuki (2008, 2009, Warsaw), Apteka Sztuki (Geca Gündüz project, 2010/2011, Warsaw), Centrum Synagoga (META-morphic Processes, 2011, Zamość), Stara Prochownia (Beyond Tranquility, 2012, Warsaw), Galeria Elektor (White noise, 2014, Warsaw), Centrum Synagoga (Impulse, 2014, Zamość), Galeria Amfilada (Palimpsest, 2015), Galeria Imaginarium (White noise, 2015, Łódź), Galeria BOK (Osmosis, 2018, Warsaw), LiTE-HAUS Galerie + Projektraum (Palimpsest, 2019, Berlin).
He has taken part in exhibitions of new art from Azerbaijan (1996, 1998, 2000,Baku), in two editions of the Transkaukazja Festival (CCA Zamek Ujazdowski, 2009, Warsaw, and other venues and in the International Biennale in Turkey (Taksim Gallery, 2013, 2016, Istanbul). In Poland he has a long-term cooperation with Art Office gallery.
Founder of the experimental music band Gamid Group, whose music often accompanies his video works and Hava, azerbaijan folk music band.
